YASS COURT OF PETTY SESSIONS.
THURSDAY, JANUARY 30.
Before Mr Yates, PM.

    UNNATURAL OFFENCE.—George Bowman,  aged 61, of Dick’s Creek, farmer, an old decrepid [sic] individual, was charged with having, on the 24th January, at Wargrave, Yass River, committed an unnatural offence, [bestiality with a mare ].

    Mr sub-inspector Brennan said he apprehended the prisoner on the previous day, and as he was not prepared to go on with the case he begged to apply for a remand of the case until Saturday (to-morrow).

    Prisoner asked to be allowed to have witnesses and he named four—J Croaker, Robert Greenwood, and two other persons.

    Mr Brennan said he would get the witnesses if possible.

    Prisoner was then remanded until Saturday, at ten o’clock.

    UNNATURAL OFFENCE.— George Bowman (on remand) was charged with having committed an unnatural offence. After hearing the evidence his worship dismissed the case.

    Mr Iceton appeared for the accused.
