METROPOLITAN QUARTER SESSIONS.
(Before Mr District Court Judge Wilkinson.)

    Mr Pitcairn prosecuted on behalf [of] the Crown.

UNNATURAL OFFENCE.

    Richard Leman [aka Leeman] Wood, a respectable-looking young man, who was defended by Mr Lowe, was acquitted upon a charge of having attempted to commit an unnatural offence [upon Charles Nelson].

THURSDAY.

    The Metropolitan Quarter Sessions were continued. Mr District Court Judge Dowling presided, and Mr PJ Healy prosecuted for the Crown.

FALSE PRETENCES.


    In the absence of the prosecutor, through illness, the trial of R[ichard] L[eman] Wood, for obtaining goods by false pretences, was postponed until next sessions.
