    At the CPC [Central Police Court] to-day, an old man named James Murray, alias James Murphy, was committed for trial upon a charge of attempting an unnatural offence.

    Mr G O’Malley Clarke, SM, presided at the CENTRAL POLICE COURT yesterday morning.

    An elderly man named James Murray, alias John Murphy, was committed to take his trial at the next sittings of [the] Court of Quart[er] Sessions on a charge of bestiality.

    Mr Fitzhardinge prosecuted for the Crown.

ALLEGED UNNARURAL OFFENCE.

    An old man named James Murray was arraigned on a charge of attempting to commit an unnatural offence at Burketown on July 24th ultimo. Prisoner pleaded not guilty and was undefended.

    The jury found the prisoner not guilty, and he was discharged.
