At Newtown yesterday James Norman, aged 18 years, was committed for trial on an alleged charge of committing a criminal offence at Ashfield.

James Thomas Norman pleaded not guilty to a serious charge [bestiality ] and was undefended. The jury found the prisoner not guilty and he was discharged.

ALLEGED UNLAWFUL OFFENCE.
James Thomas Norman, a lad about 15, was charged with having committed an unlawful offence at Ashfield on the 2nd October last. The jury returned a verdict of “not guilty,” and the prisoner was acquitted.
