    The PM (Mr FB Hales), and Messrs Wood and Lane also occupied seats on the Bench.

    Michael Casey pleaded guilty to a charge of committing an unnatural offence, [bestiality with a horse], and was sentenced to 9 months’ hard labor in Bega gaol, and on completion of that sentence to enter into his own recognisance to be of good behavior for three years.
