John Ledwidge, indecent assault; Arthur Tyley, shooting at with intent; Richard Holly and May Watson, breaking and entering and stealing. (Before Judge Murray.) At the Court-house, Darlinghurst. At 9.30 am: Appeal of John Whittaker against a conviction for assault.
The following appeals against magistrate’s orders and convictions will be heard before Judge Edmunds, in No. 2 Court, Darlinghurst, this day; William Atkin, assault; Martin Costello, stealing; Cornelius J Doherty, assault; William Donovan, breach of city by-laws; Alexander Fulton, assault.

ACQUITTED.
John Ledwidge, a young man, was indicted on a charge of [indecently] assaulting a youth, [William Harold McLelland]. The jury, after a brief deliberation, brought in a verdict of acquittal, and Ledwidge was discharged.
