QUARTER SESSIONS APPEALS.
(Before Judge Cohen.)
APPEAL UPHELD.
William Andrews appealed against his conviction at the Central Police Court on May 1 last, when he was sentenced by Mr Macdougal, SM, to six months’ imprisonment, with hard labour, on a charge of vagrancy. The appeal was upheld, and the conviction quashed, without costs. Mr McTague appeared for appellant; and Mr Stacy for the Crown.

INDECENT ASSAULT.
Charles Dundas, 32, was charged with having indecently assaulted George Hislop Huntley, [aka George Hislop], 25, who was charged with aiding and abetting, at Sydney, on May 12. Both of the accused pleaded guilty. Dundas was bound over in recognisances of himself and one surety in £20 each to come up for sentence if called upon within three years. Huntley was bound over in his own recognisance in £20 to come up for sentence if called upon within 12 months. Mr Dovey appeared for Dundas.
